Being a small builder it wouldn't be legit to call them custom shop pickups since Onamac Windery doesn't have a separate custom shop we just call them our "Top Shelf" pickups kinda like how the best whiskey goes on the top shelf.

Built with no time or cost constraints they are the very best humbuckers Onamac Windery has to offer.

Vintage PAF tone at its purest for those who can hear the difference.

These are non-potted alnico 4 7.7k 8.2k

Crafted using butyrate bobbins, maple spacers, our special custom spec cast alnico magnets, custom covers and baseplates. In order to use specific alloys the slugs, keeper bar, and pole screws are custom manufactured. Specially selected plain enamel wire sorted from many spools to find wire of a specific diameter and ohms per foot.

With just enough umph to easily push your tube amp into the sweet spot these alnico 4's have the power and clarity to cut through yet retain a vintage voicing without the compression you'd expect from pickups in this output range.

Superior note separation even with pedals the neck position is a useable option that doesn't get lost in the mix. Whether you play clean or use a full complement of pedals the Top Shelf alnico 4 pickups are versatile enough to use for most any music genre.
