The neck pickup("Little boy") is an alnico 5 PAF with extremely clear, articulate vintage tone with moderate output at 8.0k.
The bridge pickup ("Fat Man") at 16k is a real rocker. Full range hard rocker when you need it then roll the volume back for clear articulate humbucker tone. Even when pushed hard note separation remains clear and cuts through even the thickest mix where other high output humbucker pickups tend to get lost. Slightly scooped until it's pushed hard then a mild mid-range hump is evident resulting in a text book hard rock tone.
Neck: 8.0k, alnico 5, short legs, zebra bobbins-no cover
Bridge: 16k, alnico 5, F-spaced, short legs, double cream-no cover
