Hand crafted pickups for those looking to emulate the Hendrix tone.

These are wound with genuine plain enamel 42 awg magnet wire on gray bottom fiberboard flatwork and Onamac's custom formulated alnico 5 magnets. Pole pieces are arranged in a vintage stagger but in reverse to simulate the reverse strung Strat wielded by the master himself (his Olympic white Woodstock Strat was a '68).

The only way to get Hendrix's correct guitar sound is with a restrung upside-down axe or a standard right handed guitar with reversed pickups only problem is flipping the pups around won't work because they won't fit the rout backwards so these are the solution.

These pickups are super clear and articulate with incredible attack sensitivity with note separation second to none, they let you hear every individual note when playing chords. Made with all the best stuff; gray bottom fiberboard flatwork, cloth waxed push back lead wires and vacuum wax potted in paraffin to prevent the possibility of micro phonic feedback.
